Jude made an appearance on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon on January 30th in New York City. Jimmy and Jude recalled their first fights as kids and the two talked about Jude’s new film, “Side Effects.” Check out the stills from the show below. Hopefully, the video will be up later as well.
Collider recently spoke with Jude at the press day for his upcoming film Side Effects, and he provided some brief updates on his upcoming projects plus details about his role in Wes Anderson‘s Grand Budapest Hotel. Regarding his minor updates, Jude says that the script for Sherlock Holmes 3 is still in development, but he hasn’t heard anything yet. “But you know what it’s like, it’s going to be about scheduling, it’s going to be about the right time for the studio and it is about keeping the bar raised,” says Law, “you know, coming up with something that’s really smart and making sure it keeps getting better.”
Speaking about Werner Herzog‘s Gertrude Bell biopic, Queen of the Desert, Jude said he was out. “I don’t think is going to happen now, or I don’t think that I can be involved in it anymore. I’m not sure what happened there, whether they can get it together I don’t know.”
Jude also revealed that he’s wrapped filming on Dom Hemingway, which was directed by Richard Shepard (The Matador). Here’s what Jude had to say about the flick. “It’s about a guy called Dom, who is a kind of petty criminal. He’s just got out of prison. He’s a bit of a waster, he’s a drunk, he’s a loudmouth, he’s a liar and it’s about him trying to put his life back together and he gets into terrible scrapes with his friend Dickie. And it’s also really about him ultimately realizing that he has to make it up with his daughter.”
Last night Jude presented an award at the 2013 Screen Actors Guild Awards held at the Shrine Exposition Center in Los Angeles. Jude announced Argo as the Outstanding Performance by a Cast in a Motion Picture winner for the evening. First photos from the ceremony can be seen in our gallery, more will be added later today.
